Our DayCaring Family

Staff

"With love and guidance our DayCaring family shares the goal of helping each child grow to their full potential and become creative thinkers, confident explorers and responsible future citizens of the world."

Genevieve Sollecito, Director

A Marin County native and mother of two amazing boys I have been a proud member of the DayCaring Family since 2003.

I believe that play truly is a child's work and cherish the views of the world through the eyes of children.  Love, laughter, compassion and wonder.  Mud, water, sand and paint. These are the things children's days should be filled with. The stories they tell, the fun we have and the lessons we learn from each other is what drives my passion for my work.

I love to laugh, be silly, do all kinds of art & crafts, and live in the moment with our precious littles.

So happy to be back working in my Fairfax community where I've lived over 40 years,
and especially to be part of DayCaring.

I'm Maggie, I started out as a substitute here at DayCaring in 2009, and am happy to now be a part of the daily teaching team. I'm married and a mother to my son Carlos and daughter Rubi, who are both DayCaring alumni kids.  The biggest satisfaction of working with young children is being able to see their eyes full of wonder. It's priceless to me to experience the laughter, and interesting conversations of the simplest things in life.

A Note on Local School Choice

Here in Fairfax, we are fortunate to have many excellent public and independent schools. It is our mission to ensure that your child is well prepared for whichever local school best suits your family. Our students have found success and fulfillment at each of our local school options, and we enjoy hearing about their experiences as they move through their education—and even into adulthood. While we do not endorse specific schools, as informational materials are shared with us from local schools, we pass those along to parents and encourage them to follow-up with schools directly based on individual interest. With love and guidance, our DayCaring family shares the goal of helping each child grow to their full potential and become creative thinkers, confident explorers, and responsible future citizens of the world.
